iPhoto Project
The iPhoto project consisted of us answering questions to our-self, finding pictures describing every letter of one of our names and or nicknames, and finding pictures that described ourselves and the things we like, miss, visit, and hate. It took us two days on average to find all the photos that we required for out presentations. After we had compiled all of our pictures, we had to go back and source five of our pictures, unless we took them ourselves. The hardest part for me was finding pictures of family and friends. Not being a picture-taking family, there are very few pictures that include most or all of the family. Friends was hard because I don't carry a camera with me everywhere I go and take pictures of everyone.

Job shadowing
In this project we had to make an address book in excel and a letter in word. The excel document had to include 10 people, their title, address, city, state, and zip code. We typed 3 paragraphs in the letter to tell about what we want to ask, and when we want an interview, etc. We had to typed the letter in business format which included formal wording and a more specific wording style. To mail merge we had to add the excel document into the word document that required a special tool. We set up the format and simply pressed a button and it all merged into a grand collection of letters.

Traits
We did a project on people's physical traits. As it turns out, most people do not have freckles; as a majority. Hair colors were mainly brown and blonde. Most people were more than happy to share their information and reveal to you other peoples information. I received at least 4 of my people form just copying them from someone else. It was an interesting project that allowed me to learn more about the class as a majority and as individuals. The project was very rewarding and taught me about how to use the multi page and paste data feature in Excel.

M&M Project
The project went fine. I am quite happy it is over however. The M&M's looked delicious, and they were. In the project we counted M&M's and sorted them into an excel spreadsheet. We then counted other people's M&M's and entered them as well. We also had to make a pie chart that showed how many of each kind of M&M we have. We had to average all of the M&M's as well. It was terrible up until we got to eat the M&M's, and now I am thirsty. All in all however the project could have been more fun if excel didn't give error messages or wasn't so sensitive to minor details.

Expectations...
I think this tech class will be interesting and will hopefully provide a further education in Macintosh computers. I have been around computers since I was little, we had a mac when I was about 2 until around when I was 8. We then got another mac that eventually broke after being hit several times out of rage. This whole time my dad had a laptop that he used for general things and gaming. He also had a tower that he used to run the home server and to do intensive or long-term tasks. He later gave that computer to me and it now resides in my room running Ubuntu Linux. We currently have a top-of-the-line supercomputer custom built by my dad with the latest parts (from the summer) and is running Windows 7. We also have a XPS Dell running Windows 7. My Mac-book runs both OSX 10.6.8 and Ubuntu Linux 10.04.
